Sharing his opinion on President Akufo-Addo press briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron and his recent controversial Aljazeera interview, veteran journalist David Ampofo, said the President's thoughts are "pure common sense."

He posted on Facebook: "I listened to our President talking side by side President Macron. Pure common sense!
"There is a visionary side to President Akufo-Addo that we must pay attention to and harness. His thoughts are very progressive.
"Listen also to his interview on Al Jazeera. Excellent! This job of President requires experience, knowledge, exposure.
"He has it. Frankly if he does not succeed in bringing about positive change, then we are in trouble. All hands on deck!!!"

President Akufo-Addo in his press briefing with Macron made a passionate case why Africans must not depend on the West and France for aid.
He argued for Presidents in Africa to find money to finance their own priority projects since western aids often come with conditions.
